Spirex
SPIREX is a Schnell innovation for the production of continuous stirrups for concrete beams and pillars.

In SPIREX stirrups, the vertical arms are always orthogonal to the main reinforcement, while the horizontal arms diverge determining the (possibly variable) stepping of the spires.
Continuous stirruping eliminates all possible errors that can happen on site during the deployment of the reinforcements. SPIREX is a single steel piece, easy and quick to apply, that ensures that the engineer's original project is fully realized, without any modifications or negligences.
Amongst its advantages, SPIREX guarantees:
1. Absolute certainty of the number of spires in the beam or pillar.
2. Due to being produced with a fixed stepping back from the calculation step, the stirrups are always in the correct position, even with variable stepping. Site operators cannot mistakenly change the distribution and number of the stirrups in the reinforcement.
3. Not all stirrups need to be fixed to the longitudinal rebar, due to being connected to each other. This ensures that teh stirrups will not dislocate during the concrete pouring.
4. SPIREX continuous vertical arm stirrup spirals cannot break open like conventional stirrups, especially those in pillars, do in case of a seismic event
5. Great time and money savings, with a reduction of up to 70% of the rebar deployment costs.
